Bidrage med feedbackOh boy where to begin. First let me start with the positive. My one glass of wine was good. Now let 's get to the issues I had on my first trip to Valley today on Sunday at 1 pm. Me and the wife thought it would be a nice activity to check this place out for lunch and a couple of drinks. After looking at their website and menu saying that they like to treat customers like family we were sold on giving it a try. Unfortunately we found out Valley treated us like foster family and the only reason they wanted you around was for the check from the state. We arrived shortly before 1 pm their opening time on Sunday mind you this isn 't by any means early but the staff seemed completely unprepared. When we got in the lights weren 't even turned on in the dining area, and they weren 't taking food orders right away. Tip #1 If you are going to open to customers it 's a good idea to be there a couple hours ahead of time to be prepped. We placed our order. No warmth from the staff, just rushing us to order. It really seemed like they were irritated today to deal with customers. We got Two glasses of wine, a cheese board very disappointed but I 'll get to that later and my wife got a BLT. There was one family that ordered literally right before us pizzas, wraps etc. They seemed to get their food in a timely fashion. We waited, and waited and waited. During this time I 'm refraining from drinking my glass because I wanted to have it with the cheese and crackers and salami. During this time we were constantly having to bat flies away from our drinks and table. Apparently Valley has never heard of fly traps or paper. We ended up moving tables to the opposite end of the restaurant to get away from them, we noticed another couple did as well. Tip #2 make sure problems with house flies etc is under control in your dining area. Now we placed our order shortly after 1 pm, and it is now approaching 2pm. Still no food. By this time I 've had it and walked up to the counter to ask where a BLT and some measly slices of cheese and crackers are at? As I 'm walking up the lady is finally coming out of the kitchen with cheese an hour after ordering. She gives a half azzd explanation that they are preparing for a party sorry not my problem. I am a customer there for lunch. If you can 't handle customers close for the party only then or maybe just maybe get to work a few hours ahead of time and start prepping!!! . The BLT comes out shortly after. All in all very lackluster. The board I ordered had a measly 3 slices of salamami on it. I thought that was the cherry on top after waiting a whole hour. It took you literally this long to prep that? Inexcusable. Closed out the tab and left. If you look at any of my reviews I always talk up positives and I 've never left a one star but this was just abysmal. The wine was good but the service gets a total F for failure. Do better if you want more repeat customers because you never know when you are making a first impression. In this case it was our first impression and it was rotten. Oh yeah bill was 45 dollars for two drinks, cheese and crackers, and a blt. Thumbs way down
Came here on my birthday wanting cheese boards and wine. Or some kind of food on the menu. Well don’t expect to get anything other than alcohol on weekends. The menu on google is wrong and should be updated.
It was about a thirty minute drive for us. Great place nestled in the Cincinnati area. We partook of the wine slushies and a bottle of raspberry wine. It was very nice both inside and out.
I’m the wife It was so bad all I could do was laughnot too loudly though or the flies would get in my mouth.
Wine slushies are wonderful, trivia is great. Bruschetta is some of the best ever!!
