Sunshine Health Foods - Morro Bay

I had lunch twice and it was so great to have healthy food among all the heavy fried restaurants in Morro Bay. I really enjoyed the taste and freshness of the spread grain bagel an avocado sandwich. The Tempah BLT was also delicious, but a little too sweet for me.

We love Sunshine! Both the food and supplement shops have been our family book for 9 years. Greg Sarah are totally humble and generous, but Greg is the largest source of far-reaching health food knowledge I've ever met. They run a business full of integrity, which is like a family, full of long-term employees that we consider as friends. Tim, who manages the supplement department, has been a natural medicine resource for 30 years; he is a natural medicine, if not so. This place is like the tardis; it is bigger on the inside! great variety and very knowledgeable, friendly staff. I especially love the large containers and the selection of herbal foods. the supplements section is also very good, and, as I said, the people who work here know their things!

Really nice selection of bulk-bin foods, from fig bars to date bars to grains and nuts. I enjoyed the fresh sopressatta that I got from the fridge. I would like to see more beverages on offer... there was almost nothing but soy/milk and other dairy-type products, and almost no single serve items to drink.
