Bidrage med feedbackStaff was very friendly. Fresh shrimp rolls were delicious; enjoyed the crunchy texture inside! Pho broth was decent. For the price, the food was great!
People were friendly, food is delicious, Vietnamese iced coffee is good. I ordered pork fried rice, pork belly bahn mi, and beef barbcue bahn mi, to go. I will definitely be back for pho, but I'll eat it there! (Btw, I removed the jalapeno slices from the bahn mi...I'm not into very spicy stuff. The flavor was still there, but not overpowering.
I believe this Vietnamese restaurant has opened not too long ago, as the tables and seats seemed relatively new. But I was excited to try out a new pho place. At around 5:30 PM on a weekday it wasn't busy at all. Maybe there was just one other customer there. But keep in mind that this place is off of Chapel Hill Road, so the traffic could have been an issue. Now, as for the pho, you can see that the broth is nicely colored. The taste was OK, but it either seemed to lack a couple of spices, or it wasn't boiled long enough. The rare beef was cooked just enough and allowed the hot broth to cook it the rest of the way once it was served. The onions were crunchy, and the noodles weren't overdone. Good single serving of sprouts and basil (I don't like it when the give too much, and I feel guilty of wasting them . I might check this place out again when I'm nearby in the future, but there are a couple of other competitors that are closer to me, so we'll see. :
Must come to try the best Vietnamese restaurant in town! So so yummy and not pricey!
