Another Broken Egg Cafe - Morrisville

My server seemed unhappy, but she was efficient. The women at the entrance were inviting and friendly. The food was good but a bit expensive for the portion. For one person it was almost 34. That being said, it also included coffee and a soda. I do want to add that my biggest pet peeve is having my coffee topped up when it’s perfectly made without being brought more creamer to fix it again. I don’t think I’d go back. I recently had a breakfast at a similar place that was in the same area that was much more enjoyable and not much more for 3 people.

This was my 1st time ever going here and I must say the chicken and waffles were delicious!! They have vegetarian options as well! Everything was so so good! The staff was amazing!!

Great food, great service. If you want some excellent breakfast options, check this place out!

As always Kathy was ON POINTE. I LOVE HER. I asked for something new and she suggested the creole dish with shrimp and grit cakes and poached eggs. Although quite tasty the grit cakes were cold in the center. I think the rest of the food was supposed to keep it hot and well NOPE that did not happen. I brought it home and will put in oven. But must work on how to keep the grit cake hot a while longer while eating.

Kathy was our server, very polite and sweet. Food was great and so was the coffee!
