Bidrage med feedbackThis is a fantastic, inexpensive family experience. I talked about this place since I first visited in 2001. Love it. After all these years I was able to go back and share the experience with my husband and child. It was still great. Even if it rained this day and we all had an explosion. My daughter will talk about this experience that will come for years. We are planning another trip only for this attraction. It's not just fun, it's also historical. There was never a boring moment and we all learned so much. Staff super friendly and knowledgeable. The small concession stand was quite expensive and tasty. The gift shop was affordable and the entrance fee and train ride was super affordable.
My children love this place. Quaint and quirky. Quickly 30 minutes from South Denver. Riding is always a highlight. You can bring your own picnic. Beautiful shaded areas and a playground for children. Don't worry. It has a family, relaxed atmosphere.
Amazing and affordable day trip with kids! A nice train ride, concessions and gift shop. Super friendly employees and the tiny town is so fun. You can walk up to most of them and peak inside to see little lives set up. I recommend the train ride first then walking through the town to a neat playground at the end. There are picnic tables all around too for picnicking.
Fun place for kids and fascinating for adults. The miniature homes with fine details such as live settings in a saloon, school, theatre, gas station, etc using dolls and other toys; a nine minute mini train ride with various engine models (gas and electric powered that takes you around the tiny town (including a tunnel and Jurassic section! ; and topped with a concession shop, a gift shop, a picnic area under the trees and a children's playground! Definitely a unique touring place that is not to be missed.
Great place to take your little ones. From many replica miniature buildings (some children can actually in) to the children's size train ride and a playground at the end hours of fun in the sun. Well worth the entrance fee. I'm sure our little one will talk about the visit.
