Empire Burger Co - Morningside

I’ve been passing this outlet on my way to Woolies for more than a year now. I decided to try today. Wow! The rocky burgher was amazing and my kids loved waffles. Awesome service from the staff.

Been a regular since Empire opened. Fresh ingredients and delicious combos. My fav is the empire burger. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. If we are not eating at the store, we are ordering off ubereats. Totally obsessed! <br/ <br/ The only criticism I can give is the fact that they took off the English muffin options from the menu. Please bring them back, they were great breakfast options :

Note: Take away review. <br/ <br/ My husband and I decided to order something to eat and we heard about Empire so we decided to try it since it wasn’t a bad drive. <br/ <br/ My husband ordered the Empire and the Foxy to taste. I ordered the Joe combo. <br/ <br/ The Foxy is a grilled chicken breast which had a lovely taste, full of flavor, and not dry. <br/ <br/ The Joe was a beef burger which was delicious (Dare I say it reminded me of Rocomamas before it was bought over by Spur).<br/ <br/ The chips were fried correctly, however I would have liked a spice on the chips, but it’s not a train smash. <br/ <br/ The iced tea on the other hand wasn’t my favorite. It was from the tap which isn’t an issue for me, but the berry flavor is a syrup that was squeezed into the iced tea. Too much ice is used and diluted the flavor of not drunk immediately....<br/ <br/ ...but I went there for the burger and it was delish. I would definitely be ordering burgers from here in future.

I am like many people. I know I should pack lunch but I never do. So thank goodness for places like Empire Burger. With their good value for money burger combo I have been saved at lunch times!<br/ <br/ I am too lazy to drive anywhere so I just order in. I have ordered for Uber eats and from my Delivery. Both times the food has arrived in a adorable box with the ice tea sealed so no spills.<br/ <br/ I ordered the Rocky burger both times and the burger has been exceptional. Fresh and tasty! The tea is perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Very refreshing in this awful heat.<br/ <br/ My only issue is the chips. They can be a little under done and have zero salt or seasoning on them. I have to add salt to be able to eat them. If they could add a secret spice blend or even just plain salt to the better cooked chips then they will have me there every single day.<br/ <br/ I look forward to ordering again to check the progress ;

Found a gem... my guys and i heard about this place so we decided to try them for lunch today. Firstly their staff are super helpful. Then we received our order. They looked fantastic, but OMG they were out of this world super good. Fresh and tasty. No guilt burgers as my double was amazing... Will be a regular for sho!!!
