Bella's Cupcake World - Morley

My experience here was good, from the service I received over the phone to when I was in the shop. The lady was friendly and helpful when I enquired about ordering their giant cupcake cakes. Ordered a red velvet giant cupcake and it was so delicious. Not every place can make red velvet cakes with that nice, distinct flavour, but this one is up there!

As someone with an insatiable sweettooth I'm always on the hunt for good cupcakes! Stumbled across this place when exploring coventrys one afternoon. Service was a little lacking to be honest. I got a few different cupcakes shoved in a box that was too big, so they were sliding all over the place. Was not even offered a bag to carry it in. The cakes themselves were not too bad though. Quite light and airy. I wouldn't say they were the best I've had, but they weren't the worst. Though the price and the service probably means I won't be back.

Was really excited about the this place when it first opened but the cupcakes are rather disappointing considering the price. Place looked better as they changed the display a while ago my opinion for the cupcake remains the same.

They have nice cupcakes with a wide variety. The cupcakes are not dry but they aren't as moist as they should be and they vary in sizes, so when you have 2 of the same flavour and one is really large and one is really small, and you have 2 children (I am sure you get the point). Service could be a lot better. They were more happy to see us leave the cafe so they could continue talking instead of offering their time.

I'm in two minds about Bella's. I liked it but didn't love it. We tried a vanilla custard cupcake, peanut butter and nutella, and salted caramel. The vanilla was the most enjoyable. The peanut butter and nutella didn't taste anything like nutella. The icing was yum but the peanut butter inside (which was a nice touch) tasted a bit cheap. The caramel on my salted caramel cupcake was a bit sickly sweet for me. The cakes themselves were quite nice but for $4 each, I think I'd prefer to go elsewhere. I bought six in total, taking some to a friends place so I'm not sure how they tasted. Not a bad experience but not the best cakes I've had. lifelovetravelfood.wordpress.com
