Golden Corral - Morgantown

The food was good and as expected at a Golden Corral. The wait staff and the cooks were very friendly and worked hard. Our waitress was Suzette and I informed her of an item on the buffet and she took care of it even though I'm sure it wasn't her responsibility. The Manager seemed on top of things and addressed needs as they arose. A neighboring table ordered an omlette but let the manager know it wasn't what they expected and the manager addressed the issue right away. My daughter didn't even have to ask for cotton candy, as she walked up the server got it ready and handed it out to her as she was approaching the counter.

Husband and I are presently here having his birthday dinner. The gentleman who did our steaks did am amazing job at getting them med rare. Thick, juicy and flavorful. My shrimp was done just right. Not too hard. The cheesecake is to die for! Our waitress, Alex had a wonderful personality. She was a real professional doing her job. Highly impressed and we'll worth the money!

I've had nothing short of a positive experience, on several occasions. The superb food remains as high a quality as on grand opening day. It has always been hot, fresh and delicious, every time we have visited. We also have been greeted immediately and addressed properly. We have always received impeccable service from all staff members. Including the talented young man on the front grill, he has taken our specialty cook orders on doneness for our steaks, and makes them perfect every time.

The food was super good! And the waitress was fast with cleaning the table and getting our beverages. It's a car travel for me, but well worth it. Only had 1 complaint, but it was nothing major. Will be returning very soon!

Good selection of food, however some of the food was out way too long and inedible. Like the premade burgers... just awful. Not sure if they would have made fresh if I would have asked, but I really shouldn 't have to ask for fresh food. Same goes for several other items... they need to keep better track of what went out when and replace the old items. It seemed like they had a lot of burgers and meatloaf out, I wasn 't brave enough to try the meatloaf. The chocolate fountain looks good but it isn 't chocolate. I have no idea what it is but it is nasty! Now the ice cream and most of the other deserts were great, even if they are coming in ready made, thawed and served... Overall it was a good visit. Could it have been better, of course; and it really should have been better... but it is what it is... Tip: avoid the 'chocolate fountain ' as it is NOT chocolate!
