Dockside Grille - Morgantown

First of all, this place is fantastic and conveniently located near the lake. As you approach the restaurant, you are greeted with stunning scenery. They offer valet parking, which is a great convenience since parking is limited. We ordered flatbread and tacos as appetizers, and the portions were quite generous, making them easy to share among five people. The food was served promptly, and we also tried the fish po' boy sandwich, mushroom and Swiss burger, Brazilian brisket, and pulled pork dishes — all of which were excellent with no complaints. Our server, Erica, was wonderful and added to our enjoyable experience. Thank you for the great food and service. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Morgantown!

Ideal spot for a WVU graduation dinner! The beautiful lake and outdoor seating were perfect for our large family. Fantastic experience!

I visited Dockside for the first time last week and had a wonderful experience. I sat at the bar, where our bartender Laurel was extremely friendly and well-informed about the menu and drinks. I ordered the lobster roll based on her recommendation, and it did not disappoint. I will definitely be returning!

I wish I could give this place a better rating than one star, but unfortunately, my wife and I had a disappointing experience. After we were seated, we were completely ignored. The servers passed by us multiple times, attending to everyone else while we sat there for half an hour with our menus and beers (which we got from the bar) without anyone even acknowledging us—not even for a glass of water. Eventually, we decided to leave. The hostess seated other guests around us, and every table nearby received service while we were overlooked. If you're looking for a good dining experience, I recommend going to Lake House or Tropics instead and skipping this place, as Dockside will likely overlook you, too.

We had a great dinner at this restaurant. The shrimp tacos were fantastic, but the highlight of the meal was definitely the cheese fries topped with pulled pork. We also tried the pear gorgonzola appetizer, which was delicious. The service was good, and the view was lovely. The only downside was the parking situation; it's quite tight.
