Hungry Jack's on Pascoe Vale Road in Jacana is conveniently located next to a Coles Shell service station, making it a practical choice for a quick meal. However, depending on your perspective, this could also be seen as a drawback. On this particular evening, we were looking for a bite to eat between the east and north-west. The kids were hungry, so we decided to stop by. The burgers were a bit lackluster and messy, the fries were on the cold side, and the drinks were watered down. The shakes lacked flavor and didn't compare to other options in the area. Despite these shortcomings, we decided to try their new "similar chips" and overall, the meal was decent. However, the food seemed processed and lacked authenticity. Prices were reasonable, with a meal for three costing just under $50. While we have other dining options, Hungry Jack's is a convenient choice when kids are involved. We may return in the future if they improve the quality of their food. We visited on Wednesday, January 20th, 2016 for a quick snack.
HUNGRY JACK'S, Pascoe Vale Road, Jacana is attached to a Coles Shell Servo..So, very handy... or very unfortunate... depending on how you see it...?Anyway, stopped for fuel, again, this evening - doing a bit of daily driving between the East and the North West at present..The boys hadn't long eaten, but.. apparently they were once again "...starving... mum..."Hey, who am I to judge..? When I'm starving - I wanna eat too - God help anyone who gets in my way..! We know it's a bit rough here - burgers have been a bit hastily, and messily, put together - fries packets have verged on the empty side - drinks have tasted just a little too watered down - shakes haven't had the flavour, icyness or robustness of their competitor's offering...But, tonight they all wanted to try those new 'Chicken Chips' things, as well as the usual - TOTALLY NOT NICE - They were cold, every packet.. And it's not 'real' chicken - They're made out of that mixed up, mashed, rolled out stuff.. You can taste it.. NO GOOD..!!Look these FAST FOOD places charge enough now to be able to provide some REAL FOOD - 3 x meals with burger, fries, soft-drink $11.15 each; 3 x chicken chips $3.95 each; 1 x chocolate shake $4.55 cost just a little under $50 - HEY, THAT'S DEFINITELY A "REAL FOOD" PRICE.. YES.. I know - We all have choice - But, it's not an easy choice when teenagers are involved...Dare say we'll be back again... But would be so fab if they could just lift 'THE QUALITY' a little..Visited Wed 20 Jan 2016 for snacks.
I had a decent experience at this Hungry Jack's restaurant.
