Calypso North - Morehead City

Just ate here last night for Women's Night Out with a couple of friends. Very yummy! Bright, unique flavors with an Island twist. I had the Trigger Fish with sauteed bananas and it came with pasta with a citrus-y sauce. Very happy with the dish.

This is always the highlight of our trips to Morehead!! Of all the amazing restaurants we have ever tried, this is our favorite. Dave prepares the most flavorful and unusual dishes ever! He and his wife are so very welcoming and just delightful people, we even look forward to seeing them! Don't miss this wonderful experience!

Overall excellent food. Unique twists on classic seafood dishes, etc. A little pricier than similar competition, but you are paying for fresh ingredients that many other restaurants don't have- though they may claim to. This is one of my 4 favorite restaurants in Carteret County.
