Pasta e Pesto - Morcote

Interesting the idea of this restaurant, organized type canteen with the self service that definitely speeds the waiting time. great the fact that it is all made the house, both the pasta and or sauces and when you eat them you feel! I ate carbonara cutters, really good! It is not easy to find a good carbonara in a restaurant. my partner instead ate dumplings with walnut sauce, even these very good ones, although personally the sauce was uncommon, but it is clearly a subjective thing. for the rest we found this very good place. excellent location, if the weather allows it is wonderful to eat outside on the staircase of the cathedral, it seems to be on holiday!

For the 5 stars he would miss a few dishes of vegetables to match the first ones that compose with pasta and sauces of choice. Also the choices of the sauces are not many generally are about six. Surely to recommend because pasta are excellent and also sauces are appetizing. We have tasted both the pesto and the ragù and are really good.

The noodles was too soft and the price was extremely hot. for two persons 30 euro. could make definitiw better for the price.

Very original idea: choose the fresh pasta (ravioli, gnocchi, trofie, etc.) and add the dressing you prefer between pesto, ragù, butter and sage, day sauce, etc. we have taken pecorino and pecorino ravioli with butter and sage, great dish and abundant portion. good prices to be in lugano. the staff is very kind and friendly

Has two steps from the train station, in the descent towards the center, a superb address for a short and typical meal before continuing the city tour. a choice of homemade pates (10 to 15frs the dish,) a sauce among 5, the all excellent and fast. nothing to say, the concept works perfectly (no view of the lake, but the few steps allow a good immersion in the Ticino soil despite everything!)
