Crown Anchor - Moray

We have never had a problem at this old pub. The food is always good and the atmosphere is just lovely. The warming glow from the log burner is very welcoming as the evenings get a bit colder. The landlord is very accommodating and the...staff seem to be quite efficient. One of our favourite places for an excellent meal.

Unlike one reviewer against the crown. I have always found that the COVID rules have been followed and have been asked each time to sign in with the App.

All the staff were not wearing masks. including people serving food. The tables were not distancing either. Half the food advertised was not available. No signing in . . . Covid not friendly.

We stopped in for some drinks. We were welcomed by landlord to sit at the bar. Lovely atmosphere in the bar and had a great chat with local and landlord. First time to Findhorn and certainly won’t be the last to visit Crown Anchor.

Excellent food and service was first class. Highly recommend, the seafood was amazing and have no hesitation in going back.
