Bidrage med feedbackWe went for the Easter menu with 4 adults and 2 children (7 and 10). The Easter menu consisted of a choice between 2 entrees (trio of foie gras, asparagus), several main courses, cheese and a choice between 2 desserts (pavlova,Easter egg). The trio of foie gras was fine, the asparagus entre was good, except for the asparagus mousse, which was ice cold. I think that it would have been better served in ambient temperature. The restaurant have a children 's menu, but our kids took the Easter menu with us and for the main dish, the restaurant kindly provided smaller dished for the children. One of them had lamb and the other had entrecote. Both kids wolfed down their main dish in no time. The entrecote was cooked exactly as asked and the lamb was good. The same comments the adults taking the entrecote and the lamb. One person took the fillet of St Pierre and reported the fish to lack taste. One person took the Turbot and though that it was good, both in taste and cooking. Both fish dishes were however served with a bean puré, which was way too peppery. All dishes were served with a potatoe gratin (gratin dauphinoise) which was very good. We had the house rosé wine, also good. The cheese was good but nothing extraordinary. The pavlova dessert was served with a fresh fruit sallad. It both looked and tested good. The almost egg dessert was a chocolate cake served in a half chocolate egg with a strawberry sorbet. Really delicious and well presented. We did not even see the chocolate cake on son 's plate before it had disappeared... The ambience of the restaurant is that of a simple countryside restaurant, without any exagorated decoration. The staff is very friendly and the quality vs price is correct. The restaurant is popular with the locals, who are looking for a nice moment without anything fancy. In the summer there is an outdoor terrasse looking out at a small lake, around which you can take a stroll after lunch.
Very expensive for poor quality, frog thighs too cooked, liver fats mediocre and for 30€ I prefer to eat at home
Poor service , all at high speed to free up table asap for next turnThey inform you without shame to leave.
We came last year, since again this year to 19 people. A good welcome, the waitresses very well compared to the number we were.by the pinea colada without coconut and a lot of rum,bof very medium I couldn't finish it and yet I love it. The dauphinois gratin was a single dish for 19 very just and yet very good people. And for the frog thighs it was a little fair. Not the perfect environment. We had a good day.
This is our second visit to the shores of moras almost a year day for day. The frame is always as pleasant and beautiful, the very friendly staff. We came to a very large committee (19). And despite that, the service management went very well. The frog thighs are always as good but in a negative point, we regret that it is no longer at will like a year ago, for an unchanged price...For the gratin also because the dish for 15 people was quite insufficient. Wine is expensive if we refer to what we find in some restaurants around, but this remains anecdotal all day. Finally, we were able, like all the other tabs, to enjoy the pond, the land of petanque and the pleasant surroundings. In the end, I'll just criticize the quantities reviewed downwards compared to our arrival last year, for an unchanged price is still high since the products are not of high quality, industrial bread, coconut-free piña colada or the unspoiled foie gras. I write a positive note for the whole work:)
