Take Sushi - Moorpark

You're great! You have everything you can eat for a good price compared to the a la cart prices in the city. They also do not try to stuff you with rice. You have no rice roll options for you on their menu and they let you order half rolls, so you can try more of a variety before you are stuffed. They also include a small dessert with your AYCE menu. Great place! I wish I were closer to Port Hueneme.

I sat there with my husband and son for the first time tonight. A service and food!!!! Really a hidden jewel. Thank you! Very recommended.

Have lived here for 5 years and have been here for about this time. Was through several chefs and different menus, but the latest version (as of April 2015) is by far the best it ever was. Recommend everything you can eat. The cook will ask how many pieces you want, so if you get a few different reels on a plate instead of a whole reel at once, it is feasible. Also on the AYCE menu there is a fairly large No Rice section. While a welcome supplement to the menu if you are trying to cut the rice, the crab is used by the imitation variety (Pretty Standard for Sushi places) so if you are just trying to cut the carbs, the crabs still has a quite significant amount. The only pizzling thing in which no rice section I still forget to ask is the Crispy Rice who does not say rice right next to him. I would be happy if it always stayed with this menu and cooks as it is fantastic!

I've been to many sushi bars over the last 25 years. I must say Take Sushi is my favorite place for sushi. The chefs and staff are very welcoming and professional. The new menu is phenomenal. The atmosphere is awesome. I return at least twice a month.
