The Original New York Bagels

The staff is friendly and the service is good, but I can't recommend their bagels. It seems they are shipped in frozen because they always taste stale and dry, lacking flavor. Don't expect a true New York-style bagel here. However, my wife really enjoys their omelettes.

NY Bagel is undoubtedly the best spot for breakfast in Mooresville! My go-to order is the everything bagel, paired with either their fresh cream cheese and tomato or a classic bacon, egg, and cheese. I won’t dine at any other bagel place because they are simply unmatched. Plus, the staff is the friendliest around!

We visited for the first time today and I had an Asiago cheese bagel topped with jalapeño cheddar cream cheese, bacon, and egg. It was delicious! The service was quick and friendly. However, I rated it 4 stars primarily because there weren’t any kid-friendly options clearly listed on the menu, so I had to ask about them at the counter. My 3-year-old isn’t a fan of chewy bagels, and although the staff assured me they could provide a single pancake, I was surprised to see that it cost over $5 for such a tiny portion! I also paid an extra $2 for a side of chocolate chip cream cheese, which my daughter enjoyed, but it felt excessive for the small pancake. On a side note, I found the cream cheese to be oddly tangy and wouldn’t recommend it. The syrup came in a disposable container with a peel-off lid and contained mostly high fructose corn syrup flavored with maple, which I avoid giving to my child. I would love to see a more kid-friendly approach, including a visible kids’ menu to look at while waiting to order, better pricing, and higher-quality ingredients.

The bagel was good, but it wasn't a NY-style bagel. The consistency was wrong, especially the skin which was visibly not finished off right. That being said, it tasted fine, and holds its own for this area. Secondly, implying that this is a NY-style delicatessen is also not accurate. Boars Head cold cuts are invalid. Probably all tastes fine, but it's in no way a Jewish-style Deli experience, or flavors. The score would be higher if it weren't for the marketing.

Bagels are good, muffins but breakfast was small. My side of fruit was ridiculous, never had a portion like this before 5 pieces like the one in the Pic
