Green Tomato Grill - Mooresburg

Visit the Green Tomato in Mooresburg, TN at your own risk. The food was quite disappointing and not worth the money. I ordered a hamburger steak that was overcooked and looked unappetizing. I also got a chopped sirloin dinner with two sides and a baked potato for my wife, which cost $21. Save your money and choose a different restaurant!

The food at this restaurant definitely makes the drive worthwhile, especially with the excellent vegetarian options available.

We had a fantastic time stopping here on our motorcycle. The fried green tomatoes with dipping sauce were amazing, even the few we took home and enjoyed later. The mushroom and cheese-covered chicken was simply delicious—perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The country fried steak was both tasty and tender. Everything, including the sides, was seasoned just right. Our waitress was energetic and attentive. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

This place is ok. The tomatoes were pretty good. I got the big daddy rhea I asked for medium rare, it was over cooked to around medium. We also got the country fried steak, a burger and sirloin. It’s kinda over priced for the quality. But I guess you expect to pay that when there are no other local restaurants around. The service was good. Our waitress was very friendly. There’s a $3 charge for using a card which is kinda crazy cause who Carries cash anymore?? I was dissatisfied with the food though, cause $20 for a steak and it cooked wrong was a real disappointment. Parking: The lot was small and crowded
