The Valley Cellar Door - Moonee Ponds

I came to this restaurant for a work event and despite it being a very busy Tuesday night, it was fantastic. We ordered our wines, pizza, and the Valley cellar door platter at the counter. It was a great place to spend the evening grazing on food and catching up with friends. Definitely a great find in the suburbs.

Great little place which is almost always buzzing.<br/ Great for a casual date night or a catch up with friends with a great wine selection and tasty pizzas and cheeses.<br/ Also love that it’s BYO food if you’re feeling like a different cuisine but still wanna hang out with some nice wine or beer.<br/

This place is great. Always busy. Nice environment for a more relaxed dinner and drinks. Would be a great 'low pressure ' first date venue as an alternative to the more formal style quiet dinner. Food and drinks are ordered at the bar. Food brought to the table by waiters and drinks carried back to your table yourself. The share food is delicious. They have vegetarian and non vegetarian charcuterie platters. Both delish. Pizzas very good too. Friendly and helpful service. Tables are a premium, even though there are plenty of them, so early arrival is wise. Can book when you have a group.

Having just had dinner next door at Bekka, my friend and I decided to have a wine here at The Valley Cellar Door.  The place was bustling with people having a great time, we were lucky to score a table, sharing with other people.<br/ <br/ There is an extensive wine list, the bar is quite nice.  I found it strange that I wasn't able to try a little sample of one of the reserve wines, most places will let you try a teeny weeny sip.  I went for one of the shriaz and it was really good, very enjoyable.  Glad I took the punt!<br/ <br/ There is also a massive selection of wine by the bottle to buy too, comes across as a bottle shop slash bar. <br/ <br/ This is a great place with a good vibe, I will definitely be back.

Amazing hangout. We had wines and platter. Live music was playing at the time. Just a overall cool place and really want to go back and try more of the food.Definately will go again !!
