Backlane Street Food - MOOLOOLABA

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant, even on New Year's Eve when it was packed. Everything ran smoothly, thanks to the excellent service. Vanessa was very friendly and welcoming, and Jason truly shines behind the bar. I highly recommend the oysters—they're fantastic, especially when paired with a Riesling. The Harvey Bay scallops were my favorite, and the croquettes were delicious as well! The bar has a classy atmosphere, great food, excellent cocktails, and a top-notch wine list—all at reasonable prices. I will definitely be returning!

The food was outstanding, and the wine selection was impressive. We ordered several shared dishes, and we enjoyed every single one of them. We also tried a dessert: the crème Catalan ice cream with mandarin, spiced pastry, and almond praline—it was simply amazing! The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed; stylish without being pretentious. I highly recommend this place!

First time here, the staff are on point, the drinks are fantastic and I can't wait to come back and try the food!!! Just what Mooloolaba needed!!!

Amazing tapas and wine bar. Great food and wine list catering to everyone’s palate and excellent value for money. The simplicity of the stunning decor doesn’t impose. Staff extremely efficient and their attention to detail is obvious. Can’t wait for my next visit. Congratulations to everyone involved, just what Mooloolaba needs for the over 40’s.
