Recently we dined on Tuesday enjoying a superb wedge salad, ribs and outstanding truffle fries. Our lovely server Kylie was prompt, friendly, professional and engaging. Our experience was so enjoyable, we returned on Thursday and were delighted with that wonderful wedge salad again, which is the best I have ever had, along with a delectable fusilli pasta dish with chicken and perfectly balanced sauce, plus a Filet mignon quesadilla which was dynamite delicious! Our server was Ali who enhanced our dining experience with her wit, on point service and engaging personality as well. Hats off to the chef and Thank You Fire and Oak!
Everything about this place was absolutely amazing! We wanted to get my mother out for my birthday and she had a wonderful experience. Very recommended and will definitely be back soon!
We were in the area and went here for an early dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is warm and inviting and has an upscale/ cosmopolitan vibe. The staff are well trained and service-oriented. The menu contains an eclectic assortment of high quality options to meet just about anyone's palate. All of the food came out quickly and was fresh and delicious. From the coconut shrimp appetizer to the entrees like the chicken fusilli pasta to the fish sandwich and an absolutely delishish special menu item of filet quesadillas. Highly recommend a trip here for a delicious meal, cozy and upscale environment and great service.
However, the experience took a downturn when our entrees were served. It was apparent that many of the dishes were rushed and not cooked to the high standard we remembered. Despite this, we were still enjoying the celebration. Soon after, they unexpectedly brought out the birthday cake. Immediately following that, they inquired about a review that we hadn’t prompted, and they didn’t even ask if we wanted coffee or tea, which felt odd. We ended up having to call the waitress back to retrieve the check and ask for coffee. At this point, the staff's demeanor had completely changed from when we first arrived, and it was clear they wanted us to leave, which was incredibly frustrating during a special celebration. When we started to leave, they didn’t wait for us to finish standing up; they immediately began clearing our table while we were still there, which felt quite rude, especially for a restaurant that prides itself on quality service. As we exited, we noticed another large party waiting to be seated. I feel that management or the host center should not schedule reservations back-to-back like that, as it creates a poor experience for both parties—ours was rushed, and the next party had to wait. I would be more understanding if we had been notified of a time limit for our table, which some restaurants do. However, that information was never shared with us. We arrived at 6:30 and left at 8:50. While the appetizers and drinks were good, and our waitress was pleasant, the management needs to improve their handling of reservations on busy Saturday nights. In the past, the service and food were exceptional, making for a great culinary experience, but this time it fell short.
This place was awesome. The burgers and ribs were both super tasty, but the highlight for me was the pizza! Detroit style pizza, super crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. The only problem is the price of everything, but I wouldn?t knock points off because the food and service is very good. Definitely check this spot out for a low key, upscale dining experience.
