Montross Brewery Beer Garden

Let's get this straight from the start. I'm a homebrew snob. Love beers of all kinds, appreciate character and uniqueness provided by grain and yeast. Enjoy additives to make some cool brews like fruit, etc. Short version, will I stop here again? Yes, I will. Why? To support beer in the northern neck and local small business. Word to the master brewer you are not impressing me you need to start using the correct grain and getting the gravity right for doppelbock, and Saison brews. (Must admit did enjoy the C hops in the Saison to go quart. Focus on the depth and richness these beers are meant to put forward. By BJCP standards you are way off. Taste profile is almost there but US grains and yeast choice strips the quality and regional uniqueness of these beers. Raise your game bro, I'm not a pro but I expect better from local pubs. Looking forward to sampling the other beers and restaurant on the next visit. Menu is interesting, absolute fan of salad and a good pizza pie. Love to all those in the NN!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! It was a wonderful day for me, my brother, my fiancé, and the kids. Monique, our bartender, was fantastic and made our time even more enjoyable. This place is definitely family-friendly!

A charming brewery located in Montross, featuring a cozy setting with seating available both in the front and back. They offer a wonderful variety of beers, and our server was fantastic at explaining the options and allowing us to sample a few. I ordered the frozen berry cider, which was absolutely delicious. The others opted for different beers, and everyone was pleased with their selections. Additionally, there's a restaurant next door that serves delicious pizza and homemade pasta.

Montross Brewery is easily my new favorite spot. Everything about this establishment feels like home, from the moment you walk in until the end of the night. The beer, the people and the staff are all amazing! All of their offerings are unique and the careful crafting is obvious with every sip. And then next door in Nino's kitchen you are guaranteed to find something to satisfy your palate and fill your belly! I would be hard pressed to recall a brewery that offered a food menu that was more exciting than what Nino has brought to the table. Montross Brewery is an absolute gem in a community that desperately needs one. Stop in and let Keith pour you a cold one today!

Nino and Amanda are an incredible duo of dedicated professionals. Nino's homemade Croatian dishes are incredibly authentic, and I recommend them to everyone I know. Amanda expertly manages the brewery and always suggests fantastic local beers. If you're visiting the area, this is definitely the place to be!
