Good authentic food, good friendly service and excellent value. Simple wine menu but not overpriced, as many are in Switzerland.

We found the brassieres early and came. There was no one present to neither customers nor employees. We sat down and while we offered menus ordered drinks and a meal. The food was good. Not complicated. Others came in. A family of three generations. 4 Italians followed. The cheese fondue was a favorite. Next time, I'll try the bastards.

Visited early evening for an aperitif. Decent vermouth and Ricard priced well at 9 chef for the two. Nice little cafe with good atmosphere and friendly staff. Located close to casino and lake.

Ask for the Menu du Patron, literally a cheese fondue or roast chicken and chips served in a basket, with a side salad all for 16.00CHF evenings as well, not just a lunch menu. Definitely worth the effort to support local enterprise, very friendly owners and staff.
