Bidrage med feedbackDuring my visit to Resto Végo St-Denis, I experience good customer service; employees working the first floor near the entrance are helpful and nice. The Burrito Quinoa Vegane is really good. What I really enjoy about the meal and feels elevates the flavors of the meal well is a creamy texture throughout which I taste with every bite. The side sauce comes cool (literally like low temperature) though offers a flavorful slightly spicy touch to the warm burrito. I find the meal filling and satisfying for dinner though I think ensuring the meal is satisfactorily warm is necessary. I find a few cooler than warm spots with my burrito. Overall, I think the meal is fine though the temperature of the food needs attention (from my experience).
A basic self-serve buffet that you pay by weight. Lots of good vegetarian options, although the fare was simple and tasty--not outstanding. The ambiance was fine and there was an outdoor option. Good place if you want to try a bunch of different bites!
Buffets that are pay by weight seem like false advertising to me; buffets are all you can eat. This place charges by weight and it ends up costing if you 're hungry, as I was. I was impressed last time I was in town by their to go sandwiches and salads, and decided I 'd try out their so called buffet this time. The food wasn 't particularly fresh; much of the food looked like it 'd been sitting there all day. Nevertheless, I gave it a shot. Much of it would 've been really nice fresh but was subpar after many hours. And price wise, it 's a bad deal my moderate size plate came to over $20. I was hungry later in the evening and needed a full pizza to be satisfied. I wouldn 't return for their buffet ; go for their to go items instead.
Lack of courtesy in the staff, and management is not friendly to public group events. I made a reservation for 15 on a Sunday evening when the restaurant was almost dead. My group was the largest in the downstairs area surrounded by empty tables. As I arrived, a manager informed me that absolutely no outside food is allowed (a strange request to start with, and immediately set the tone for what was to come). Within an hour, the same manager (who I can only assume was having a bad day), pulls me apart from the group and tells me that because it's been an hour and people aren't ordering as much as he wanted, they will not be taking my reservations in the future. I attempted to explain to him that given the nature of our event (basically a discussion Meetup group), I couldn't force our attendees to order anything, that people typically order as the evening goes on, and that I was not a salesperson for his restaurant. It didn't matter as he reiterated that he needs to pay his staff (not my responsibility as a client), and that he won't be taking my reservations in the future, leaving no room for discussion. I will happily take my business elsewhere. The food itself is average in both quality and price. The most interesting thing about this restaurant is the space itself, particularly the large and quiet downstairs area, but given the attitude of management it appears that they don't want anyone to use it.
Great location and lots of options. Food was really good and staff were friendly and helpful.
