Restaurant Nonya Cuisine Indonésienne

We ordered like a Combo/ package for person The food was less authentic, but exciting to taste different flavours. It was expensive dinner.

I loved the look of this place. The location is excellent and the name they have chosen for the restaurant speaks of real appreciation and knowledge of what makes South East Asian cooking special. It was, therefore, even more of a disappointment to find myself...eating relatively tasteless, non-descript chicken wings, that were visually impressive but missing on flavour, There was then a spicy but dull jungle curry. The Nasi Goreng is all bean sprouts and no rice, even though the menu description of the dish doesn’t mention them. Weird. Sadly, not what the name suggests. The service was great, and there’s a good atmosphere. But its not Nonya cuisine.

This place is nice. We try to find Indonesian places everywhere we go. It certain had that flavor but a way different version of some classical dishes. The service was great and super friendly. I gave this a star due to lacking traditional dishes...and their versions were not worthy of more. Certainly acceptable but not great!

I received this Groupon as a gift for the menu for two at Nonya. The decor and location are great and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. They had a decent selection at the bar for the type of restaurant and size (normally...in my experience these places don't have liquor licenses). We asked the waiter to kindly leave out the chicken dish on the premeditated menu and when he came back told us the chef offered to make the Peanut Chicken dish with tofu instead which was totally unexpected and extremely kind of them. It ended up being our favorite dish of the menu! Great service overall and the food was good. Will for sure be back to try more of their food on the regular menu! Also I normally don't like rice pudding but theirs changed my mind about that, it was delicious. Thanks again!

We roamed around the city and ran into this restaurant, it was surprisingly good. The atmosphere was good, services was great and the food was excellent. We ordered sambal chicken, it was very spicy with a lot of flavors. Grilled chicken in red curry (Ayam...Bakar), it is not like what it sounds, it is a lightly fried chicken and not greasy, maybe it was marinated with red curry and was delicious. Laksa soup has a different taste, but was also good. Pleasant dinner with family while visited from west coast. Will definitely come back again before we go back home.
