Bidrage med feedbackThis was their goat on special with rice and peas, plantains and a salad. I didn’t really have any expectation for Caribbean food in Montreal but it was pretty good. I preferred the rice and peas and salad over the goat. The goat was seasoned well but over cooked. The restaurant was good vibes and is a good pregame spot if you were getting ready to listen to Caribbean music. They had a DJ and it was pretty lively. Nice spot for a night out in Montreal.
Loved our experience at Palme! A group of friends were looking for a spot during MONTREAL PRIDE when the Village was very busy and all patios were packed. We found Palme and the staff were so friendly even though it was extraordinarily busy. We loved all the cocktails and the food. I especially loved the green papaya salad and the cod fritters. The decor is charming, the staff is lovely, the music and ambiance kept us there for a much longer time than we had planned will definitely return on a non pride day!
It was my first visit here and I was thoroughly impressed! I got the Jerk Salmon Bowl and the flavours were all so well paired together! The crispy plantain on the side was also delicious!
We just had dinner at the Palme restaurant, a small, but amazing spot on Saint Catherine St. in Montreal. The food was to die for! A unique blend of spices, but not too spicy, that was exquisite! If you get the chance, I’d be worth your while to go.
Interesting Caribbean restaurant… Great seating area on the outside patio makes for an easy evening. The rum punch was a little bit too sweet. The pork salad from Haiti was excellent… Would highly recommend this.
