O-thym - Montréal

This restaurant is a fantastic local gem for food lovers! The prices are exceptionally reasonable, coming in at just 200 CAD (about 160 USD) for two people, especially considering the creative quality of the cuisine that would be hard to find in New York City. The vegetable dishes were particularly impressive; the mushroom dish paired with a spicy corn puree was absolutely outstanding. The service was friendly and attentive, just as you would hope. I highly recommend it to any tourists seeking a local spot away from the usual tourist trails!

The food was outstanding, but we had to wait 90 minutes for our first course, which was challenging since this restaurant operates with two seating times, making our dining experience time-sensitive. As a result, we felt rushed to finish our main course and dessert.

One of my best discoveries this year! Although it’s labeled as a Québécois restaurant, its diversity and originality go far beyond that. They seem to update their menu according to seasonal ingredients and their freshness. Everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. I highly recommend going with a group and ordering as many dishes as possible! xD

Excellent dinning experience, cozy and very personal. The vegetable dishes are so pleasant and full of flavor. The desserts are not too sweet, loved the sunflower Praline one and the creme BruleeVegetarian options: The turnip dish, wild rice, mushrooms are delish
