MASALA PALACE - Montréal

Just a short walk from the Snowdon metro station, my companion and I arrived early at this restaurant on a peaceful Sunday evening. We decided to try all of the vegetarian dishes on the menu.

The food was extremely tasty! The portion sizes were a bit smaller than anticipated, though.

I have been a patron of this restaurant since it was known as Sitar. Over the years, I have noticed that the ownership of the restaurant has changed multiple times.

I went there to have lunch in a weekday without many expectations, but I got really surprised. The place is great and the waiter was nice and polite. I ordered a vegetarian option of the table d'hote (entrée, main dish and dessert). It was around $10 and the food was delicious!

Best food I have ever tasted. I could not stop eating (that is an issue) : it was heavenly. Reasonable, excellent service and staff was very helpful! Quiet and not noisy (which i like) Wonderful neighborhood delight!
