Macbar et Fromage - Montréal

If you want to taste amazing mac and cheese this is a must!!!! It took forever to pick a dish, they all sounded amazing. And I'm positive no matter which dish you chose would satisfy you. I had trouble getting through my meal, but I just could not leave it alone. Our server was very friendly, he knew it was our first time in their restaurant and he was so patient and spent time chatting with is about their menu. We had red sangria and it was absolutely wonderful. We will definitely go back!

I think average is the best word to define this place. From quality of food to service and price there's no better word that average. Not good but not terrible.

Food drinks food and drinks were really really awesome. Especially as European who is not used to eating mac 'n 'cheese it was a feast. The cocktails were also great, had the Long Island Ice Tea. Service the service was superb. Very friendly (friendly then average Canadians, if that is even possible) and attentive but at the same time not bothering too much. Atmosphere very nice atmosphere with cool pictures of Stockholm and Rothenburg ob der Tauber and another city which we did not recognize. Everything was clean. Restrooms very clean and large restrooms. Price compared to the other restaurants in Canada I would say the prices are really cheap. Because we had food with a cocktail we got a 3$ discount on the food.

Googled mac and cheese in Montreal and this place came up. Looked lovely from the outside and the inside is done up really lovely. The guy who served us was so so nice made the whole dining experience. Food n drink prices really reasonable too. Both had mac n cheese (traditional and a meaty one) so tasty, huge portion. A really enjoyable evening and if you are after mac and cheese look no where else!

We walked past this place and thought: what’s not to like about a macaroni and cheese restaurant?! We had the “Montreal” Mac and cheese, which had smoked meat and mushrooms. Also had a grilled chicken cheeseburger. Both were tasty ... and the portions were very generous. We had a couple of cocktails, too, and they were good and very affordable.
