Bidrage med feedbackI strongly recommend brunch at l'Oeufrier on Mont-Royal, their staff is attentive and the food is fantastic. Great value for the price too in comparison with other nearby restaurants.
Yummy brunch. Plenty of options to choose from, fast service, and great prices. If I'm back in the city would definitely go back and would recommend to anyone looking for a good breakfast place.
Visited this place twice in May of 2016. Both times we had a huge breakfast that kept us going until dinner. Service was ok as was the coffee.
My friends and I were in Montreal for the Grand Prix and this place was close to the flat where we were staying. We had walked past it on one occasion and my one friend said it looked dodgey from the outside. His attitude totally changed once we went inside and were greeted and seated by some of the nicest people we met that weekend. The menu is really extensive but the part that really got me excited was the myriad of choices for eggs benedict. Yum! They had so man different kinds (15) that I really had a hard time deciding. but once I saw the duck confit benedict, I could not imagine passing that up as I had never seen that before. And it was amazing! I thought it would be overly rich and heavy, especially with the hollandaise sauce, but it was tasty and not at all too heavy. Chunks of duck confit served over a muffin with perfectly poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Mmmmmmmmm! It was served along with a large pile of fried potatoes and a fresh fruit cup that was really good and really fresh! The only downside for me was the potatoes. They were not crunchy and lacked any seasoning. More filling than anything so I stayed with the "Bene Joe Duck Confit" and the fresh fruit. Delish! One of my friends had the Portuguese omelete with chorizo, peppers, onions and swiss cheese. He loved it! My other friend went for a huge crepe filled with fruit that looked more of a dessert than breakfast, but to each their own.I would normally knock a star off for those potatoes, but everything else was so good, the coffee was decent and the service was impeccable. Can't wait to go back!
My husband and I were staying in an Airbnb down the road from this location and decided to stop in for breakfast. I really enjoyed the fruit crepes, which where fresh and very generously sized, and my husband loved his banana and nutella pancakes (omg yum).We were only in Montreal for 4 days but ate here twice. Nothing particularly Canadian about it if you are looking for some kind of cultural experience, just plain old good food!
