Bidrage med feedbackThe owner, François, is extremely impolite and unprofessional, making me reluctant to spend my money dining there. Numerous people have mentioned that the restaurant is dirty and lacking in cleanliness, particularly the restrooms. It is a standard café with average quality food at high prices. As a food columnist in Montreal, I would rate my overall experience a 3 out of 10.
Ideal for those seeking a good Wi-Fi connection. the deco is depressing, the menu is very limited (except the tees that are definitiw from the best quality.)
Le Placard is a café where the decor is vintage style and you are looking for treasures. They offer free Wi-Fi, so it is an ideal place to sit for hours to enjoy a book or work in groups. It is quite spacious, so no... needed to worry about finding a seat. In the background was the choice of music jazz; a great choice for a relaxing Sunday morning, but it was hard to enjoy since the CD skips. Although my coffee was good, it wasn't exactly what I ordered. When I asked about Sugar Twin (being daetic), the waiter looked at me as strange and said, "No, we only have what is there" (corresponding to the brown sugar). Although the whole ambience was cool and relaxed, I felt like my presence was an inconvenience for the waiter. He took his time to confirm my arrival, brought no menu and never smiled. The menu was a photocopy of the handwritten menu that was not clear and even more difficult to read in the badly lit section where I sat. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that includes Mayo, egg, salad and tomatoes according to the menu. Unfortunately there were no tomatoes in me and there was so much Mayo, it was literally the main ingredient. For every bite I took, there was a kick of Mayo that's out. I also decided to go for a chocolate chip cookie. It's good that my blood sugar was low because it was loaded with sugar. They are active on their FB page, showing enthusiasm. I just wish the waiter was eager to offer a friendly service.
This charming café located in the eastern part of town is a hidden gem. They offer a delicious range of locally sourced Cafe Rico coffee, teas, and light snacks. Their selection of desserts is also top-notch. It's a peaceful spot perfect for a quick business meeting.
This restaurant is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy a coffee and biscotti in the morning or anytime. The ham and cheese sandwich was absolutely delicious.
