Le Coq De L'est 2015 Inc - Montréal

We live on the other side of town, but this restaurant has always been our go-to place to order from. We've been ordering from them since we moved to the neighborhood in 2018. However, something has changed recently and we are disappointed that our favorite spot is not the same. The last time we ordered, the ribs were quite tough. The sauces that used to be amazing (French and buffalo) are now watered-down and taste like mayonnaise. The fried chicken is still very good though, so I would recommend that. Hopefully, the sauces will go back to their original deliciousness. The atmosphere in the restaurant has always been super friendly.

This restaurant offers unbelievably high-quality, fully-equipped kitchen. The food is of extremely high quality and very affordable. The portions are generous and everything on the menu is clean and healthy. The chef has 30 years of experience from top-notch 5-star hotels and restaurants throughout Europe. This could possibly be one of the most unique and best-tasting restaurants I have ever been to. You have to try it yourself to truly understand what I mean.

I was pleasantly surprised by this rotisserie restaurant! Don't let the quirky sign fool you, the food here is top-notch. While it may not be the most affordable place to buy chicken, the generous portions will leave you feeling satisfied. If you happen to be in the east of Montreal, this is definitely worth checking out!

Eating was okay. I prefer the normal huh. I find the deep fried not so good for the price. good quantities. I didn't like the poutins so much, but it was okay. ribbing is not the kind that simply drops, but fritted with mustard sauce coating. they probably don't want to go here if decoration is a big thing for them, as some parts are due for a renovation.

This is one of those feel good restaurants. It is a no frills restaurant but the food is limited (chicken n ribs) but is spectacular. Most of the business is take out but we were a group of 8 and one of the first tables since covid. Service was friendly. Chicken was juicy and had a hint of Portuguese and the sauce had a hint of Indian. The rib dipping sauces were delicious. Saw the high rankings and it is well deserved.
