La Vieille Europe - Montréal

The manager, Paul, was very generous in giving me a tour of the restaurant. The Italian sandwich was excellent and they have a great selection of imported products from Europe. This place is a must-visit whenever you're in the area.

We had originally planned to have lunch at Schwartz's, but the line was too long, so we decided to try this restaurant instead. They have a wonderful variety of specialty foods, including a sandwich and coffee bar. We ordered two delicious, meaty grilled sandwiches along with a ginger beer. We highly recommend this place!

After receiving recommendations from several people and seeing it on tourist guides, we decided to visit Schwartz Deli but were let down. The line was too long to even enter to try anything. Fortunately, La Vieille Europe was just around the corner! The selection of cheese and meats was impressive, along with the jams, sauces, side dishes, and sweets, all offering a wide variety of choices. We didn't sample any of the deli sandwiches, but they looked appetizing. For a deli experience in Montreal, definitely check out La Vieille Europe!

Found beautiful cheeses to take home at a reasonable price. Great selection. Cheerful ambiance. Lovely service.

What Is there not like about La Vielle Europe is everything cold cuts , cheeses , Sausages , different olives , canned fish , there pantry section , chocolates , amazing coffee section I could go on but would not have enough space . Lastly the staff amazing good humored and with a welcoming smile . I'll be there as I always am every Saturday Morning Obrigado
