Katoreya - Montréal

This restaurant is a fantastic choice if you find yourself with a long layover at Montreal International Airport.

Discovered this place by mistake one day and is now our favourite spot in the whole city!!!! Always fresh and a real good value to what you are getting. The owner is hand on and always happy to help. Must go!!!

The food is very fresh and made on the spot with an amazing chef. BYOW is always a great option and you can enjoy the casual dining with amazing sushi

We frequent both Katoreya and Soho sushi on the west island, considering them to be the best options for our area. We prefer Katoreya's edamame and gyoza (dumplings)! Their sushi is always fresh and their service efficient! The only downside is the absence of any refined sauces.

I can't believe all the amazing reviews. The sushi is good but I've had better. However because it's byob if the atmosphere was good I would go back. But there is a strange vibe. All the staff were constantly staring at our table and grabbing plates in a mad rush. I felt like at any minute a staff member would shout over "come back one year" (Seinfeld)Sorry Katoreya, back to Soho or Avocado for us.
