Bidrage med feedbackMy sister, who is 79 years old, and I, who is 70, visited the Newman Blvd location in Lasalle, QC on July 6th. When I was in a wheelchair, my sister had to push me up a steep ramp right after a heavy door. At 79, this was very difficult for her, and only with the help of a kind customer were we able to manage. The restaurant itself was clean and followed COVID precautions. However, my sister was told she couldn't wear her rings while handling our food, as it was considered unsanitary. Even though we had paid for our meal, we were not allowed to take our rings out of the bag provided by the restaurant. The quality of the food was okay, but not outstanding. The exit was also challenging, as we had to go through heavy doors and a steep slope to reach the parking lot. A delivery driver helped us with the door at least. The lack of proper accessibility for disabled customers was a concern, and I wonder if there are any city regulations that address this issue.
Most Harvey's locations are similar in style, but I'll share some positive and negative points about this particular one. On the positive side, there is ample parking and seating area. The service was good; the staff member who made my burger took the time to customize it to my liking and assembled it well. However, the burger itself was quite bland. I'm not a big fan of their beef patties compared to Wendy's or Burger King.
I used the app to order 4 veggie burgers and specified my toppings. I decided to pick them up at the restaurant but arrived 15 minutes early. The workers insisted that my boyfriend should have gone to the house instead of picking up the order. I noticed that the second burgers were wrong, but they told me it was too late to fix it and served them anyway. When I opened the burgers, I found that the toppings were wrong, the patties were undercooked, and the broth was too spicy and unappetizing. I called the restaurant and spoke to an employee named Carol, who was rude and unhelpful. She claimed that the mistake was my boyfriend's fault, not theirs, and refused to fix the order or give us a refund. I told her the burgers were not made correctly and asked to speak to someone higher up, but she insisted she was the highest authority and hung up on me multiple times. Despite ordering almost an hour before the pick-up time, I still haven't received my food. My boyfriend had to go elsewhere to eat because of the poor service we received. As a longtime customer, I am extremely disappointed with this experience.
Good fast food restaurant, cheap prices for under $10.00 make sure they bring these good tickets for a better deal.
I'm guessing most Harvey's are similar in nature (haven't been to one for a long time), but let me state some positive/negative points for this location Pros: Ample parking and seating area Good service; the one who put together my burgers took the time to...ask me for my preferred toppings and did the assembly with finesse Ingredients seem fresh Cons: Don't recommend the poutine and chicken burgers; both were quite bland I'm not a big fan of their beef patties (compared to Wendy's Burger King)
