Bidrage med feedbackWe were a large group of about 70 people for a Christmas dinner. we had the 26$ formula, the suppe or salat 1 choice of 5 dressed and coffee (Tips/Taxes included).) the brot was that not fresh, I took the suppe of the...day (it had an aqueous taste) and for the main dish I had the mijoté of pork (which has some chorizo and kartoffel) it was simply acceptable. I was hoping for a gallon coffee, but we had only one filter coffee. a friend of mine had an salat for entree (not very fresh) and another person with us took the tilapia filet with rice (the fish share was so tiny) it was a very disappointing experience and of course I will not give it a second chance.
We had recently dinner at the grill tasquaria. it was noisy and eating was not what we expected. for beginners I chose a cannon mousse not very delicious. the salat was ok. some of us chose the sea red tuna with zilantro, but the fish. was overcooked and hard. you had served with a fries that was pretty good. we will not go back to the final. the service was correct
This restaurant was terrible! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. the portions were very small and the service was terrible. my niece had stolen her iphone 6 from the waitress and totally denied her to take the phone. I know that because she. the only one that took up the teller after our completion. the other waiter came up in such a frenzy on the table and said they didn't take the phone. we never accused her. if they decide to go to this terrible place, make sure they are attached to their important possessions. rating 1 -10 I calculate it a 0.
Why this title you might ask?? Well if you saw the movie..I am legend..you know that the main character was alone for most of the movie..so my fellow TA..this was the case in this resto on a sunday night. So of course two ideas come to...mind..either this is a really bad resto or it's because it's a long week end... Of course service was excellent and the food was served hot and well plated..maybe just the salad served with the accra or the dates with chorizo and bacon could of been fresher..my wife had the chicken thigh and i had the mix grill of chicken, ribs and chorizo..both served with the same salad and crispy fries..both dishes had a sweet not to hot piri piri sauce on the plate... hotter sauce is offered on the side). The food was really good but lacked that charcoal taste that makes these dishes so typically portuguese..i would go back when i'm in the neighbourhood, but Montreal has so many Portuguese restos that my quest continues.. By the way are 2 starters and 2 main dishes for 74$ expensive today when Mcd's or many fast food joints charge 10$ for a combo?? I think not...we are not in 1970 anymore..
We 'd been meaning to go to this restaurant for a while now, as it 's right around the corner from where we live. We were curious. Curiosity satisfied. The service was great, no complaints there. They brought us olives, which was a nice touch. Before the...tapas, we had the vegetable potage, which was very good. They brought us plain, doughy, white bread not crispy at all, albeit warm. The first tapas was the brandade de morue , which I really liked and my partner thought was just okay. The shrimp was lukewarm when it arrived and soon became cold. It was so overcooked that the shell was soft and hard to remove. We ended with the figs and goat cheese. The strong cheese and made it difficult to taste the figs or the caramelized balsamic.
