Faros Restaurant - Montréal

It was a great experience. the service we received from nick was amazing. he recommended a good Greek wine and good food suggestions. we really enjoyed every bit of the meal. they also have a valet service that is beautiful in this opposite. Definitely...fine the food and we highly recommend.

The first and last time at faros. the restaurant had lost our reservation despite the fact that someone from the restaurant had asked us to confirm it 2 days earlier. they still found us. no smiling. the service was called out and not really attentive. was decent, but nothing more. there was no review of the vaccines and no disparities at all. the restaurant was packed. many kitchen workers worked without masks. it is not necessary to pay this kind of money for this kind of service. all in all, an evening to forget

We came for our reservation of 6:30. the two of us were pushed in a rear corner against the wall. the restaurant was very crowded, despite the Covid times. only a menu that was dirty was given to us. the Greek salat was passable, the...bored otopus $30. about 45 minutes later, our main meal came, medium sea bass was tasteless in the ground. the waiter was sincerely apologetic for the delay. this restaurant seems to see a place, not for the quality of eating. the best part of our experience was that our car waited for us as soon as we got out.

I don't remember the last time I was treated that bad for a meal I paid $500 for. I do not remember being treated so badly, even at a mcdonald’s. they didn't even check us out for our vaccination! or to disinfect our hands with...Purell on the door. first they sat our big party on a table with half the ability to provide us. they did nothing to feel comfortable and yet they expected us to come again to get a better service, despite reservations and our request to change our minuscule spots. I ate my dinner sitting on the table, with a hand on the table. my $300 hugo boss blus was completely ruined. second, the server would throw the plates on our table. I don't understand if we insulted him, even though he insulted us. I don't pay for this tragedy again. all that said were the main courts more than edible. her sweet was another story. bland, distinctly fresh from the hot water, and thrown on a plate with the hot water.

The food was great, service impeccable and attentive. We ate the greek salad, miam! The octopus and the fish cooked to perfection. For dessert we tried the baklavas and they were delicious.
