Cocoa Locale - Montréal

I always get my cakes here. Just tried the chocolate-orange last weekend and it was so good. We normally buy the chocolate chia and chocolate mint. The cup cakes are very good too! The prices is also right....for $12, $15 or $20 you have a perfect desert!

The best chocolate chai cake! The best vanilla and lemon cupcakes. Everything is nicely decorated with rose petals. Everything is home made. This is a one woman show, open from 12 until 3 and often sold out by 4!

Loved these cupcakes but i never go in that area soi dont get to eat there a lot :( its closed on Mondays and Tuesdays with very little opining hours which is a big downside but the food is so so worth it.

The flavours are complex, lovely and subtle but entirely unpretentious. Their quality is unparalleled in any other cupcakery in the entire universe -of that I am quite confident. Perhaps not as well recognized, but equally worthy of mention, is the chocolate chip cookies. They are the perfect balance of chewy and crumbly. Oh, and the owner/baker is actually too sweet for words. Just be sure to not wait until too late in the afternoon to stop by- she often sells out quite early.
