Bidrage med feedbackThe Hookah is really good. I tried the grapes and mint flavor and the food was also great. The service was excellent. The only downside is that they lack ambiance; they should consider playing music as it can be a bit boring. People mostly go there to study or talk. I wouldn't recommend dressing up for a special occasion, just go there for a casual and relaxing night out. Overall, the place is really nice.
Here two nights in a row, service was friendly (not excessively fast), hook was good and the hummas was great! I would recommend to come and hang this place!
The Hookah is really good, tried grapes\mint, the food is also good and the service is excellent. The only thing is that they don't put a lot of ambience in place should they put music because their a little boring, people go to study or talk. I don't suggest going there and dressing up at the imagination or at a great opportunity, just casually relaxing night. But the place is really nice.
I was searching for a shisha lounge to unwind in downtown Montreal. I used to frequent Arabesque on my visits to Montreal, but it has become a disco for teenagers. Upon recommendations, I decided to check out Al Dar. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was excellent, the shisha was of high quality, and I have no complaints. The food was delicious as well. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a spot to sit back and relax.
The lack of air conditioning, fans, or even open windows made the hot summer night unbearable inside the restaurant. There was no background music to enhance the atmosphere. We only stayed because we felt guilty about leaving and hoped the food would make up for the poor experience. However, even the worst Lebanese fast food I have ever had was better than the meal we were served. I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone, unless you enjoy chaos and a thoroughly unpleasant dining experience.
