La Brasserie des Arts - Montpellier

Really impressed with the quality of the food. Delicious from start to finish. Great oysters to start and a really delicately flavoured Thai beef dish for main. It was a nice touch to get some chicken wings before the starter and a caramel digestif to finish. Lovely restaurant with attentive staff. This was convenient for our apartment but I would recommend a trip on the tram to come out here. This was easily the best meal we had in Montpellier. Would happily return.

Toute l'équipe est très sympathique, mettant ses clients à l'aise. Les plats sont frais et très bons, tout en finesse. A recommander sans hésiter.

Le patron est tout en jovialité, comme la patronne d'ailleurs. Cette dernière est aux fourneaux et fait de l'art, rien de moins. Les plats sont merveilleux et les rations copieuses. Ce restaurant est devenu notre référence.

We booked a table for two here based on the amazing reviews on TA. We were very disappointed. Our doubts started with the arrival of the amuse-bouche - a chicken wing in a glass. Our prawn starter was clearly not marinated in-house and the portion was meagre. For the mains, we had a fish burger and a beef burger asking them to be generous with the cheddar. The waitress set down the beef burger announcing "Beef burger with supplement", the supplement turned out to be 2€ for an extra slice of cheese. The fish burger was mostly inedible as it was too salty. The potato accompaniement was unoriginal and water-logged. The scattering of Spring vegetables clearly came out of a packet.Two mains, one starter and a bottle of wine cost 55€ and we were hungry leaving the restaurant.

Une des plus belles découvertes de Montpellier. Les plats sont juste excellents, je recommande la salade de chèvre chaud, et la planche végétarienne qui étaient tout simplement à tomber !
