Wayside Bakery - MONTPELIER

This is one of my favorite restaurants, not only in Central Vermont but overall. It consistently offers great food at reasonable prices, and I’ve never left feeling hungry. The half-price desserts during nighttime are a fantastic bonus for those who have dinner a bit later. The staff is friendly, there’s plenty of free parking, and the diner food is exactly how it should be.

I visited the restaurant after the COVID pandemic and was very disappointed. The portion sizes have been reduced, and the prices have increased as well. I enjoy eating and don't mind paying for good food, but the changes here were not what I expected.

I'm a frequent visitor to this restaurant, and I absolutely love their pizza slices. In fact, I'm planning to order a full-sized pizza for my birthday! Their breakfast pizza is also a real treat!

WOW this place used to be great but it sure has gone down hill quick after a bad meal few months ago we decided to try again looked at menu it had mostly breakfast **** it's nothing like it used to be. I would say if you're hungry go to Applebee's instead at least they have food
