Riverside - Monticello

To be honest, it was some of the worst food I've had in a long time. The steak was completely flavorless and incredibly tough; I had to chew it until my jaw started to ache. It probably wasn't anyone's fault, but they definitely need to improve the quality of their meat!

The restaurant serves incredibly large and delicious breaded tenderloins! The fried, breaded mushrooms are a must-try, and they even offer chicken livers on the appetizer menu, which I absolutely love. Just a heads up—if you order a martini, make sure you enjoy rum because they prepare theirs with rum instead of vodka. Nevertheless, the fantastic food more than compensates for the drink mix-up. Oh, and the salmon is also delightful, even for someone like me who isn't a fan of fish. This is a wonderful spot for a family dinner, a quick lunch meeting, or a romantic date night!

The meal was very good. The shrimp portion was somewhat small, but it was packed with flavor, just like the pork chop.

One of our favorite restaurants in Monticello. Get there early if you want prime rib. They sell out quick!

It was too bad we found this restaurant on our last day. We sat at the bar and found the people super nice and the food was on point. Excellent soup! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
