Old Montgomery Steak House

The experience was mediocre. We waited for 50 minutes for biscuits and gravy and the stacked dish. The gravy lacked enough sausage and had a watery consistency, tasting like a premade mix. The sausage itself was bland and odd, seemingly crumbled patties sprinkled on top instead of mixed in. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant with a John Wayne theme throughout. Overall, it was an okay dining experience.

If you're not a fan of John Wayne, you might find the atmosphere lacking at this restaurant. However, the staff is fantastic and the prices are amazing. I have been coming here since 2000 and it has become our favorite spot for breakfast. The menu is a breakfast meal type with prices ranging from $1-10 per person. The food and service both receive a 5 rating, while the atmosphere is rated a 3. I highly recommend trying the Biscuits and Gravy.
