Itta Bena - Montgomery

We had a great time at this lovely restaurant that my adult children took me to. Our server was exceptionally courteous, and I really enjoyed the selection of music playing in the background. The food was fantastic!

The atmosphere was impeccable; it was such a lovely place that my expectations were high. Everything from the drinks to the appetizers and dinner rolls was great. However, things took a turn when we received our main courses. I found my sirloin to be cold, with a strange smell and a taste that was far from pleasant. My boyfriend ordered a burger, which was surprisingly disappointing. We ordered bacon for the burger in hopes of improving the flavor, but it never arrived. I also ordered macaroni as a side, but it was utterly flavorless—I couldn't even bring myself to eat it after sending it back. The only highlights of the meal were the BBQ shrimp appetizer, the fries, the drinks, and the dinner rolls. On a positive note, after speaking to the manager about our experience, he took care of the entire bill, which was appreciated.

I had a disappointing experience at Itta Bena on Mother's Day. There was no silverware provided, and the service was terrible. Considering the prices, it was the worst experience I’ve had there. I waited thirty minutes for she-crab soup, and I'm not sure I’ll be returning. I used to be a regular, but not if the service continues like this.
