Goat Haus Biergarten - Montgomery

We thought after a biscuits game for a dinner in the city. The menu was somewhat limited, but the food we got was delicious and did the job. The staff was super friendly and helpful! They were ready to turn back to make sure that we were comfortable, even offer to change the music or TV to something like baseball. We will definitely check them again at the next trip through Montgomery.

The restaurant offers an extensive selection of German-style beers, along with brews from the southeastern region. The German cuisine is quite delicious as well. We enjoyed a lovely conversation with the owners and appreciated the opportunity to explore the historic house that houses the bar. Be sure to visit during Oktoberfest!

Being from out of town, we were unaware this was their first day opening after the Covid shut down. The food was absolutely amazingly delicious!!! The atmosphere was outstanding!! We actually had an entire room to ourselves!! Our server, Jason, was outstanding! I had the hash brown casserole, sausage and grits. The grits were the absolute best I have ever had in my life!! I was looking around for a refill ..... which the owner, James, made sure I had in no time! My fiancee had biscuits and gravy with sausage on the side and James also provided more gravy when requested. We are returning to Montgomery in a few weeks and we will be returning!!

Now open again! You can enjoy dining in or takeout. They offer fantastic meals with a German flair. Don't forget to have a designated driver if you plan to indulge in their delicious German beers!

Manager was amazing, very giving. Service was stellar. Food was solid and not too pricey. Interesting location with plenty of seating and places to hang out.Food: 5/5
