Bidrage med feedbackStill a fixed choice, but not as good as I started to go in the 90s. service is polite and attentive. sweet tee is a little hard on the sugar. He needed more time on the grill. We are above average taped and pulled swarm. better than n jim ', for 1/3 less.
It's quiet and few dinners through the day. The customer service is good and attentive. The restaurant is clean and a medium sized eating restaurant. The drinks are given in big Mason jars for the cost and the food is at a reasonable price also. They have 4 stall restrooms and they are clean. This is a great family eating restaurant.
The service is extremely friendly, which adds to the overall experience. The BBQ is decent, but not something I'm eager to rave about. The brisket needs improvement, but the unique Maurer drink is quite enjoyable. The pork sandwich, priced at just $5, is generously filled with meat. What really stood out to me and earned the place a 5-star rating was the delicious bacon, along with the great team of workers.
I enjoy trying the different lunch specials throughout the month. The portion sizes for the midday specials are just right. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to make suggestions or accommodate special requests. The salads are large and affordable, the cakes are delicious, and they serve the best sweet tea around. I highly recommend trying the kitchen sink dish with their homemade sweet heat sauce—you won’t be disappointed!
Typically, we either go through the drive-thru or order our food to go. The chef's salad remains excellent. My daughter enjoys the covenants, but I'm not sure her choices are the best. The club sandwich is fantastic, as well as the barbecue, baked beans, and grilled bread. The desserts are amazing; we especially love the chocolate dream and chocolate chess pie. The service can be inconsistent, especially when they get busy. The last time we visited, they made several mistakes, but they really put in the effort to make things right.
