La Tourmente - Montgenèvre

We always pop by La Tourmente when In Montgenèvre for an apperativo or two! Maurizio is always so accommodating! It’s our fourth time back at the resort, despite not being the biggest of drinkers, it’s great to be able to describe what you prefer and for Maurizio to work his magic! He knows we have a love for gin and always impresses my partner and I with his passion and knowledge of every ingredient! Even running outside for a snip of a special herb to really make the drink pop! A true gentleman who not only knows his craft but constantly seeks to perfect for each individual!!

We visited this bar three times last week and we were impressed with the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Great Tapas and Cocktails.

Love love love this bar. Maurizio (apologies if this is mis-spelt from Puglia is the best host! The cocktails are amazing and the free tapas until 9pm is amazing. Maurizio made some calls to his contacts and booked us in to a restaurant but we returned after food for some more great drinks, music and atmosphere. We really wish we had found this little place far earlier in our holiday. Would def recommend

We were in Montgenevre for a week of skiing. (A group of 3 oldies! . Looking for a bar for a last night drink before 'eating in ', we spotted the almost hidden doorway to La Tourmente. Somehow suspecting a rather 'seedy ' club, we ventured in and were so pleased that we did. We just wish we had found it earlier. We would probably have been in each night. The atmosphere was great. It was quite quiet as it was early evening, so we sat at the bar and chatted to the owner. He was very friendly and efficient and a very knowlegable cocktail craftsman. The music was exactly to our tastes and I, for one, would like to have gone back a bit later as the pace picked up a little. A great place for a party! A great find. Just behind the CGH Napoleon Apartments and virtually underground.

Sans comparaison la meilleure ambiance de Montgenevre pour boire un verre. Excellent accueil du responsable qui est au petit soin, salles cosy. Nous reviendrons !
