We have the spinach and Mozzarella and ham pizza, lite garden pizza with tomatoes, anchovies pizza, and prosciutto and purple cabbage pizza. Our friends ordered a seafood sample and like it so much that another order was placed. The owner and waitress do not speak English but are very friendly. Pizza are thin crust and tasted great. We were surprise to find a good restaurant where we do not expected. The beer were good but do not order the liter Coco cola. It had no fizz.
We 4 friends) ended up eating here for two nights and both were really good. Our first visit was for pizza which was excellent. The following evening we had a variety of dishes mixed antipasto, bruschetta, tagliata, saltimboca and pasta. They were all superb. The staff are charming and extremely helpful. I would thoroughly recommend the restaurant.
Great pizza! Thin crust and the pizza base is so good..pasta and grilled prawns is good as well!! A real hidden gem..if you ever come to montevarchi..eat here!
We visited on a holiday when staying at the Delta Hotel. The restaurant was filled but not to capacity. Service consisted of only 2 waiters for the entire restaurant. There was a wait to be served. When we were served, the servers were efficient and acommodating. The food is good but not great. It is good quality. The prices are fair. Would I return to dine here? No. Would I recommend it to others? Only for convenience if you are staying at Delta or if not much else is open.
As the 2 other restaurants we wanted to visit was closed on a Wednesday when we were in the city we did walk back home to our hotel were we know there was a pizzeria just in almost the same building as our hotel. I had a Pizza with prouisicotto crudo and the crust was fine but the raw ham was not of the best quality! My wife had Pollo with funghi and she was happy with her meal. We did sit outside in an almost empty restaurant! We did see some people pick up Pizza from the Place. We also had a bottle of Chianti and I had a Chivas Whiskey Before our meal as we were there Before opening time which was at 19.30 and it was a very generous pour at 10 Euro! A 1/2 liter of Water come to the table with a bottle of Chianti which was good and the bill came to 52 Euro in all! Very cheap for being in Tuscany but this is not a Tourist city and nothing to see in the city I do promise as we walked around for a few hours Before dinner and the main shopping street I was told is Via Roma and we did walk the whole of it and there is a few shops but there is more vacant shops than open shops!
