I 'm from canada and everytime i come here La locanda dell 'abate is a stop that i have to make! It 's a must! I never order a particular dish, i let Giuseppe the cook to surprise and delight me with his fantasy and their local fresh products! Wine 's selection is awesome! They are all from the area! There is a wine for every type of dish! My favorite dishes are with sea food, they are soo delicate that even if you eat 6/7 dishes, you dont feel sick of being full! The quantity per each dish is perfect! And yes, deserts are included too! Soo light and delicious!He makes them daily! Location is not less than the quality of the food! Is located in the core of the old town, just beside the Abbey of San Michele Arcangelo! The wall are made with blocks of tuff, as people used to build houses in the past!The staff is friendly and professional, i love when they do the presentation of the dishes! Highly recommended! :

There are good places, very good places and in the end there are unforgettable places. The "locanda dell 'abate "is one of them. The menu is daily changed. The food was extraordinary and the chef has a unique fantasy with the ingriedients. The day I 've been there they served me fish, I 'm not usually crazy of it but it took the chef advices. I 've enjoyed till the last bit. The place is situated in the old and hystorical side if the town and the atmosphere is really good..

This small restaurant hides a high-level kitchen. very nice local, few tables that make you understand that you will be pampered during dinner. the owner chef offers you a menu of fish that also leaves the most demanding. beautiful courses to see and exquisite on the palate. What to say more: if you are uphill go to eat or dinner in this true goto monument
