La Catarina - Monterrey

Very good food. A nice variety. Awesome customer service!!! I will certainly be back on my next business trip. I wish we had one in America.

We had a reunion with old friends. The restaurant reserved a quiet private room. We had several snacks, I do not like some of the specialties like crickets and worms, but others said they were very good. I had the fish, it was good but not the best I had in other places in Monterrey like La Buena Mesa or La Nacional. Overall a great place to meet when in need of your own private room.

It had been years sine I had been there but always remembered great times. It was wonderful! Mexico has the best service in the world, I am convinced. We started with Lobster Tacos, Cochinita Pibil Tacos, and Duck Flautas all washed down with cold, cold beer on a very hot day. The three appetizers were very filling for the three of us. So I ordered an entree and my friends decided to share one. I love crispy octopus, my favorite way to have it, and it might have been the best ever. They shared a sabana steak and they devoured it and tried a couple of pieces of my ocotopus. We were all so happy that we ordered two desserts. Fatsos!

This was a special reunion with some close friends who chose this nice restaurant. It added a singular special value to our already most valuable and memorable occasion. The restaurant is very nice. The decor, most attractive. The service quality, superb. But above all, I have to mention the wonderful cuisine.

Charming homemade , authentic Mexican brunch at La Catarina restaurant is not to be missed. The restaurant serves variety of traditional Mexican dishes presented beautifully. Delicious food. Very attentive staff. Our server, Victor was excellent! Do not miss this place when in Monterrey. For $15 per person, you can eat as much as you want from the brunch menu without sacrificing the flavor.
