Ciao Italia Barrio Antiguo - Monterrey

It is the best Italian restaurant in downtown Monterrey at a convenient location, great food with homemade flavor.

Having eaten in good restaurants all over Italy I can definitely state that the food here is excellent. Great service, and very good food indeed. Confident cooking, perfectly prepared and seasoned, and tasting authentically Italian. We will be back.

I came to Ciao last week with my girlfriend for a early Valentines Day Meal and we ordered a margarita pizza and 2 pasta dishes and My Word!! the food was amazing! The pasta were nice but the star of the show was the Pizza, it was so fresh and can tell by the taste of it was made in a proper Pizza Stone Oven. the staff were great coming over to ask how things were and if we need another drink. the design of the place was very nice and the deckle really fitted the building. The price of the food was good and worth every penny. If the if I'm ever back in Monterrey I will definitely be going back.

Literally I am still at this beautiful restaurant and did not want to wait another minute to share our experience with you. We had a pitcher of lemonade with stevia, Cesar's salad, a Montanara pizza and fetuccini Alfredo. In ny opinion, everything was outstanding. Italian food is my favorite and having lived in Italy with a wonderful host mom who cook delicious meals, I am always looking for great food. The atmosphere in Ciao Italia Barrio Antiguo is a blend of old Italy with traditional Monterrey, the servers were super nice, they have a nice wine cellar although I did not order wine this time. In short, this place is a must come! I can not imagine anyone regreting her/his/their visit.
